Deaderick, a starting defensive end for the Tide, played in all 14 games in 2008 making 14 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. In 2007 Deaderick was charged with resisting arrest,criminal mischief, and giving police a fake name.

My thoughts are with him and his family
 Deaderick was only shot once in the forearm and it isn’t life-threatening.  He was shot when he refused to turn “it” over to a robber masked behind a bandanna.
