Pakistan the name derived from two words Pak means ‘pure’ and istan means ‘the place ‘ Hence Pakistan was the name given to our beautiful country to ensure the pious civilized and liberal are where all Muslims can live and dwell according to their own customs and beliefs.
But the creation of Pakistan was not a dream that fulfilled in a spark of light.It came out of toiling efforts by our great leaders who really worked seriously towards the creation of this marvelous place.Our fore fathers sacrificed their loved and dear ones for their next generation to live peacefully according to their own rituals.
For the establishment of Pakistan the initial grounds were laid down in the form of Constitutions .
Resolution of Pakistan (Qarardad e Pakistan) was the ultimate testimonial that ensured a strong basis for the creation of Pakistan.
Pakistan Resolution was presented on 23rd March 1940 at Lahore.Here it was decided that those areas of subcontinent where Muslims are in number they must be combined to make one country.The country where Muslims can live by fulfilling their desires for a separate homeland and they would be liberal to choose the right path as Islam has told them to move on.
So we Pakistanis celebrate this day with great fervor and enthusiasm to show that we are grateful to Allah who gave us this country and our great fore fathers who did lot of hard work for the successful creation of Pakistan.
Now its the responsibility on youth that it should keep the country on strong footing and save it from internal and external dangers that could effect its integrity and prosperity.
